On this CD with the catalogue # OC457 Dmitrij Kitajenko conducts the G\u00fcrzenich Orchestra Cologne. <!--more--><br \/>\nThe music magazine Pizzicato has awarded this recording its Supersonic distinction. Remy Franck has qualified the performance as a reference for this Sibelius Symphony, and Guy Engels (Music Editor, Radio 100,7) says, Kitajenko is stunningly enriching the sound spectrum of the work.<br \/>\nPizzicato concludes: &#8220;Dmitrij Kitajenko&#8217;s recording of Sibelius&#8217; Second Symphony must be the most atmospheric and the most gripping performance available on disc.
