In the Internet magazine Pizzicato Remy Franck writes: &#8220;With a perfect balance of the Russian romantic elements and the seeds of the later Stravinsky, Dmitrij Kitajenko&#8217;s account of Stravinsky&#8217;s First Symphony is a declaration of love for this work.<br \/>\nIn a number of other releases, conductors tried to give this Opus 1 a more Stravinskyan character.
